Here is a link to the thread

Here is a link to the thread on Compuserve where this macro is addressed.  If you scroll through the messages, Keith has attached a find and delete macro that works like the find and change macro.

There are several Delete

There are several Delete macros built into Eclipse, including Delete last word - RT and Delete word - RT. You can view these by going to the Edit tab of User settings and clicking the Macros button. To view the steps for the macro, select the macro and click the Edit button. If you would like assistance creating or modifying a macro, send your user.ini and specific details about what you want the macro to do to support@eclipsecat.com.

delete a specific word

Caryl,

is the delete word macro designed to delete a specific word that you want to delete in the transcript, i.e., if you write stand twice, can you go back and delete the second "stand"?

thanks

Dave, did you ever get an

Dave, did you ever get an answer for this macro?  I actually called Eclipse and asked for someone to help me and was told someone would e-mail me or call me back.  Guess what?????  Never got a response.  I'd love a macro for this, though.  If you got one, can you pass it on?  wbeath@aol.com

Thanks

I was wondering too

Dave,

If no one's answered you here, you can post it on the community.compuserve forum under the Eclipse section.  If anyone knows the answer, they'll tell you.  Keith Vincent checks the forum all the time and he knows just about everything to do with Eclipse.

I'll even do it for you if you don't care because I'd love to know how to do this.  Since we use LiveNote and Caseview in court, I'm sure it wouldn't show up on the judge's screen, but it would make for better editing.  The judge would still see this:  (take out don't above)
