When using File Manager to reopen a session, I get the following error message when trying to global. "C:/Prog. Files/Adv. Software/EclipseNT/etc.. . . .(whatever file) didn't open properly" and I have no audio. Others have no problem, so it must be in the software? Speechgate mfr. says it's an Eclipse problem. Can anyone help?
Joanne,
Having the exact wording of the error message, including the filenames quoted, will be important to resolving this.
Joanne,
Periods, slashes, question marks, and asterisks are reserved characters in Windows and can cause these sorts of errors if inappropriately used in a filename. The only period in a filename should be between the name of the file and the type extension, such as .ecl or .wav. If you correct your job's name to conform to these restrictions you should be fine.

"File: C:\Program Files\Advantage Software\EclipseNT\Users\Joanne voice\take 6.18 did not open properly."
Thanks for your attention.
