After 3 to 4 hours into a real-time job, laptop shuts down and reboots, shuts down and reboots the rest of day. It's turned off overnight. Next day it's fine until 3 to 4 hours later. Here's my setup: Revolution Grand hooked to laptop via bluetooth; judge's computer hooked up for real-time via Stencast Red; usb hub connected to laptop for software key, removable disk; external microphone connected to laptop. Laptop checked out fine at repair shop. What's my problem? FYI - using power cords for usb hub, Stenocast Red, laptop, & writer. So it's not a problem of all these devices pulling too much power from the laptop. I would appreciate any suggestions.
I'm trying to find a key span adapter that is compatible with windows 7. I currently have a regular serial port adapter that does not work it crashes when i'm in realtime.
Please Help!
It's the hub. You need to get rid of it or get a different one.
