4-Channel Multi-Track USB System Bundled w/Microphones for Court Reporters Using Eclipse
This USB microphone system is designed for the Eclipse user in mind! With this system, you can record the audio from the 4 included microphones onto 4 separate channels in Eclipse. When you playback the audio, you can listen to all of the channels at the same time, or one at a time.
There are four 3.5mm (1/8") stereo microphone input jacks on the 4 Andrea soundcards. The system includes one mic per soundcard for a total of 4 mics, but it can be expanded to 2 microphones per soundcard if desired for a total of 8 microphones recording onto 4 channels in Eclipse.
The setup is simplicity itself - load the driver on your computer (supplied), plug the microphones into the USB hub (you can plug in all 4 microphones, but you can use fewer if you want to) and plug the hub into the computer.
Some older computer's USB ports may not supply enough power for the USB hub, so we also supply an A/C adapter fir the hub. Again, the vast majority of computers today will supply enough power from one USB port without the need for the A/C adapter.
There are NO batteries anywhere in this system!
Each soundcard has a headphone jack for live monitoring. You can adjust the recording level and monitoring level of each mic (or mic pair if you use stereo mics) individually as needed. Need help? No problem - we can remote into your computer and set this up for you if needed.
The audio quality of the system is our best! It uses the same audio engine as our popular USB HG Model 6+ microphone. It offer 30dB of microphone boost on each channel.
The Master Series by Sound Professionals Boundary microphone is the best choice for Court Rooms, Depositions, Meetings and Lecture recordings and is hand-crafted in the USA. The microphone is small, lightweight and very durable and has a matte black finish.
The microphone element is omnidirectional, so it picks up sound in all directions equally. This microphone has an ultra-high sensitivity mic element for recording sounds ranging from extremely quiet to moderately loud sounds.
This microphone is available in variety of cables lengths - just pick the length you want in the option box. If you want custom length, please give us call. You can also extend the cable length with one of our extension cables shown in the options.
The microphone will work with this USB interface, computers with microphone inputs, Steno machines and recorders that have 3.5mm (1/8") microphone input that provide 'plug in power' between 1.5 and 12 Volts DC at the microphone input jack.
