Realtime Ready: Getting Started is a standalone entry experience for participants who are new, or nearly new, to EclipseVox with Speechmatics. Under the Realtime Voice Writing Theory identity, it gives participants a practical, confidence-building start by connecting spoken input, audio capture, recognition, vocabulary interpretation, and Eclipse output into one usable realtime workflow. Instructors take participants through the supplied setup files, configure the user environment, and establish the vocabulary and translation habits that support a strong start. The pace is practical and deliberate, with time built in for participants to complete each step and verify the result.
Learning Outcomes

  • Identify the purpose of the supplied setup files and load the correct files for the course workflow.
  • Configure the EclipseVox user environment, audio input, Speechmatics connection, and relevant realtime settings.
  • Explain the relationship between VOCAB entries, pronunciation, written output, and Eclipse dictionaries.
  • Build and test an initial vocabulary using consistent translation and maintenance practices.
  • Complete a basic practice translation and use a structured process to locate common setup or vocabulary problems.
