Sharpen Your Speed, Accuracy, and Confidence—Any Record, Any Condition

Session 1 — The Vocabulary Masterclass
(Saturday, September 20, 2025 | 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm ET)

Build a vocab that works as hard as you do.  Give your Dragon vocabulary the necessary attention and you'll be roaring with results.  Learn exactly what belongs in Dragon for stenographic output and what’s just holding you down.  From homophones and numbers to markers and speaker tags, we’ll cover the foundational principles as well as smart tweaks that keep your realtime output sharp, speedy, and spotless.

Session 2 — Be Heard: Mastering Voice Correction & the Acoustic Model
(Sunday, September 21, 2025 | 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm ET)

Sometimes Dragon just doesn’t get the memo.  This session breaks down why your words don’t always make it to the page and how to fix it.  You’ll learn best practices for training the acoustic model, using voice correction effectively, and making sure every syllable lands loud, clear, and exactly as you intended.

Session 3 — Prep? What Prep?
(Saturday, October 4, 2025 | 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm ET)

Tight deadlines.  Missing materials.  Last-minute chaos.  Sound familiar? Whether you’re a captioner or reporter, this session will show you how to prep fast and effectively with whatever you’ve got—or haven’t got.  Learn practical, lightning-fast strategies for managing minimal materials and time constraints so you can still deliver clean, accurate realtime and expedited transcripts on schedule.

Session 4 — Alt-T to Z: Your Remote Realtime Playbook
(Sunday, October 5, 2025 | 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm ET)

From sign-in to sign-out, master the daily rhythm of remote realtime reporting.  We’ll walk through every step: opening the video conference, swearing in witnesses, taming simultaneous speakers (and occasional troublemakers), documenting exhibits, and leaving scopist notes in realtime.  You’ll also learn to leverage tools like Connection Magic, Boost, and Bridge to keep your output clean, accurate, and on point—navigating each moment on the record with confidence and control.
