Eclipse10
Q. What makes Eclipse 10 stand out?
A. Here are just a few highlights you’ll find in Eclipse 10.
Boost™ - Boost listens to your audio and compares it to what you’ve written to make automatic improvements to your text.
If you like Translation Magic, Boost is your next best friend! Boost is compatible with Steno or Voice writing and can be
utilized in realtime, or in post-production translation.* Click here to learn more about Boost in Eclipse 10!
Opus Audio - Opus is audio Magic! Clear, loud, and small. Opus audio files are perfect for Connection Magic
Team Editing reporters and other Eclipse users concerned about audio file size or storage space.
Built-In Hotspots - Ditch the router and host your own personal hotspot for Bridge Mobile sessions and even share your
internet with your clients. Never worry about forgetting yet another piece of equipment again!
Integrated Connection Magic Local - CMLocal is no longer required and all of this functionality is built directly into
Eclipse 10. Host local sessions simply and easily - directly inside Eclipse.
Confidence scores - Eclipse will now rate how confident it is in each stroke written in a job. This confidence score is
used by Boost to determine when to make replacements in the same way that Translation Magic uses the phonetic and
misstroke sliders to decide when and how to make changes.
Shadow Strokes - Passport and Passport Touch users can now enjoy the benefit of shadow strokes within Eclipse
realtime! Previously available when reading notes, this helpful data is now always available.
Auto Brief - Customize brief type sort order, view brief comments, find the source of reminder briefs, and more!
Get everything you need out of Auto Brief with Eclipse 10.
Unique Channel Offsets - This new feature will make working with videographer audio files a breeze.
Store unique timecode offsets for each channel to ensure that each channel always remains in sync - no more offset juggling.
Speaker names now appear in the Infobar waveform display - Identity who is speaking directly within Eclipse
based on the seating chart microphone associations.
Ignore Audio Channels - Simply click any audio channel in the waveform display to force the Mix channel to ignore
sound from that channel. Mute the mutterers and shush the shufflers once and for all - with just one click!
Universal playback Speed and Threshold changes - No matter what audio format the file you are working with
was recorded in, you’ll be able to change the speed and adjust the volume threshold.
Musical Notes and Speaker Colors in CART - Create an immersive and easy-to-follow experience available for
your CART clients. Color code speakers, identify when music is playing, and bring the sounds you hear to life on the screen
you share with your audience.
Populate CART Window From the Top Down - Simply use a blank command to clear the CART window and it
will load from the top instead of the bottom. Give your clients exactly what they need simply and easily with this quick
and easy new feature.
Force Division - Manually divide your realtime file and send what you’ve written to your scoping team. Create divisions
whenever they are convenient for you, instead of or in addition to the default timer.
Valid IDs - Building on the functionality of Require IDs, Valid IDs now allows you to specify which Bridge Mobile viewers
have permission to join your session. Make your session exclusive with this easy new feature!
Email Link - Make joining your sessions as simple as clicking a link! Eclipse can now automatically generate a
clickable link that can be emailed or sent via chat message directly to your clients. Make joining your sessions as
simple as clicking a link.
All of these amazing new features - and 100s more - are available in Eclipse 10.
